Welcome to Avenel Preschool.

We are a small, rural kindergarten catering for children in both fun group (3 year old) and funded kindergarten programs.

 

Our kindergarten is built on 4 key principles:

• that children, families, educators and the wider community need to work together,
• that each child is accepted as a capable learner with a unique personality and is welcome here,
• that children learn best when they participate in a play based, indoor-outdoor program allowing for periods of uninterrupted play and
• that the environment should be natural and inspired by the home environment.

We pride ourselves on creating a calming environment that is condusive to learning, celebrating individual strengths and encouraging all children to become the best they can be in a caring, nurturing and safe space.  We are committed to fostering strong relationships with children, families, educators, support services and the wider community.
